Thirst for Tired YouthThirst for Tired Youth consists of a public performative-reading of an original script by André Alves. This text describes the meeting of different people in a building located in Rua Duque de Saldanha (Oporto) (whose sign reads "Headquarters of the Tired Youth Group", which resulted in the intervention Restauro da Juventude Cansada (2015).
The script Thirst for Tired Youth suggests a hypothetical post-work future. The script describes a fantastic allegory that questions what might emerge when work no longer occupies the central experience of society?
(the author)
A public reading of the script was held at Casa da Imagem Contemporânea, where 9 guests played a designated character (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, Thirst 1 and Thirst 2).
